The Arts Centre hosts a wonderful selection of the finest exhibitions in a wide variety of mediums, and on an even wider range of topics. The Music Room usually showcases the rich diversity of works produced by our own members in some of our Activity Groups such as the Camera Club and the Painting Group, although our popular Open Art Exhibition is also to be seen in the Music Room.
The School Room shows a regular programme, changed every four weeks, of external artists, using not only every conceivable painting medium but also photography and a recent exciting venture into ceramics which was interesting, to say the least, for our excellent Exhibition Hanging Team. The School Room venue is fully booked for the rest of this year, and booking up fast for next year onwards.

JUNE ART EXHIBITION
The Over Wyre Art Society was founded in 1972 by a handful of local art enthusiasts. Nowadays the subjects of the paintings chosen by the members give clues about each artist, the animal lover, the traveller, the countryside lover; individual styles of work can also be identified.
The 40 members of the group hope you can find the time to enjoy viewing the paintings which are also for sale. The exhibition runs from Tues. 4th until 27th June.
April Art Exhibition
The April exhibition of paintings which opens on the 9th April is by local artist Anita Tomlinson. Anita began painting forty years ago and gradually developed her own style. She has exhibited in many galleries both locally and also in Canada. She has also won three awards in London. Anita’s work will be displayed until Thursday the 2nd May.
