October Art Exhibition

We welcome EMMA UNDERWOOD as an exhibitor at the Arts Centre.  Whilst studying at various colleges, Emma mastered a wide range of artistic styles. Now, as an emerging artist, she is building a strong fan base regionally, nationally & internationally, finding success with her contemporary watercolours of wildlife and animals; hares, rabbits and highland cows being hugely popular.  Emma’s exhibition starts Tuesday 25th Sept and continues until the 18th Oct.

200 Club Autumn Draw

The 200 Club Autumn Draw will be held on Saturday 6th October at the Arts Centre at 7.30pm. There will be entertainment in the form of an Audio Visual Show by Adrian Whittaker (a mixture of digital slide shows set to music. Some serious, some funny & some just plain daft"). Two members of Garstang Arts Centre Painting Group invite you to their joint exhibition which continues until Thurs. 15th November. HOLLY BALASUBRAMANYAM had no experience of art when she started to paint at the Arts Centre many years ago.  Her favourite medium is pastel but she also tries to mix acrylics & ink into her work.  The monthly demonstrations and workshops at the Painting Group  provide her with new ideas and techniques. FELICITY HALLSWORTH takes inspiration from her watercolour sketchbook…

Open Art Competition Prize Giving

We are delighted to welcome professional artist, Peter Threlfall as our judge this year and he will present the prizes to the five winners on Saturday 12th January at 11-00 am in the Arts Centre. Everyone is welcome to attend this presentation when Peter will give a short critique of the artists' work.

February Exhibition Members of the Northern Potters Association (West) are making a welcome return to the Arts Centre on February 12th for their wall-hung exhibition of ceramic art.  N.P.A. aim to promote ceramics through a network of support, information & exposure across the region to people who work, or have an interest in clay. CRAFT AND COLLECTORS FAIR

The first Craft and Collectors Fair of this year starts on SATURDAY FEBRUARY  16th  and is open to the public from 10.30 am until 3.30 pm. We have a wide selection of stalls displaying a variety of items such as  beautiful jewellrey to suit all pockets , photographs, hand- made notebooks, wooden articles such as pens, door wedges and small toys,  hand- made cushions, aprons  and hand sewn craft items. We also have cards, collectables, small antiques and hand crafted…
