 June Art Exhibition

“Cathy Daniels will be exhibiting her ‘Quirky Paintings’ from the 6th to the 29th June.  Cathy is a self-taught artists; originally from Warrington but now living in Wrea Green.   Many of her pieces are based on northern town life from the 1930’s/1940’s and others inspired by the countryside.   Sheila Tearle.”



Our June Fair runs from 10.30am to 3.30 pm .We have something for everyone . From small antiques and collectables, cards, handmade wooden objects and pens , cushions and aprons . To   vintage   cutlery and coins , books , wonderful jewellery , hand made notebooks and decorations , hand crafted ornaments made from Eggs and delicious homemade cakes ! Light refreshments are available all day . Follow the signs . There are some wonderful gifts and great bargains. ENTRY IS FREE !


Poetry Appreciation Group 

Friday June 23rd 2pm -4pm. Liz Hewison will lead us in this months topic which is   Female Poets . From the early Greeks to the present day there have been hundreds of women poets . Some are well known others may be new to you . There is an huge choice for us all to hear and enjoy. We look forward to listening to them . As always visitors are very welcome. Needlework Group
