Garstang Ukulele Group
February saw our Vintage Songbook printed. This is our 4th book and contains another 60 songs for the group to learn and perform.
Each Sunday our leader Mike teaches us to play one or two new songs, then we practice the new ones from the previous week. This is followed by the players choice and some open mic slots.
Most weeks we have the use of two rooms and Kizzy offers tuition to smaller groups, especially new players.
If you’d like to join us contact Bob on 01995 604621.

Songbirds is a very friendly ladies group – we do not give performances, just enjoy singing a wide repertoire and welcome those who have never sung in a group before, as well as those who sing well but do not want the commitment of a ‘proper’ choir!
We meet every Monday (except Bank Holidays) at 1.30pm. On the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month there will be piano accompaniment, but on the 2nd and 4th (& 5th) Mondays we will sing along to CDs/computer. Dates will be on The Arts Centre noticeboard.
