What’s on in November

“The work of award winning animal artist Amber Tyldesley can be seen from 24th Oct. – 16th Nov.  Born in 1994 and based in Warrington, Amber was recently awarded the City Learning Trust prize for ‘Exceptional Work by a Young Artist’ at the Three Counties Open Art Exhibition 2017 and was the recipient of the Chairman’s Award at the 2017 Association of Animal Artists’ Autumn Exhibition.  Working primarily in acrylics, Amber works in multiple layers to achieve a sense of depth and vibrancy and focuses upon intricate details to convey an authentic essence of her subject”.

We continue as a ladies group. On the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month there will be piano accompaniment, but on the 2nd and 4th Mondays we will sing along to CDs/computer. We will still close on bank holidays. Dates will be on The Arts Centre noticeboard.

Songbirds is a very friendly group – we do not give performances, just enjoy singing a wide repertoire and welcome those who have never sung in a group before, as well as those who sing well but do not want the commitment of a ‘proper’ choir!
